When a storm hits, an eagle sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. Isn’t that amazing?? While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above. It actually uses the storm to lift it higher. I want to imitate an eagle in dealing with adversity! If we will set our minds and our hearts on Jesus, He will help us use the winds of adversity to rise above! The storms do not have to overcome us any more than they overcome the eagle.
Isaiah 40:31 says, “those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Whatever you’re facing today, I encourage you to set your heart and mind on Jesus and He will help you use the trials and winds to actually bring you up higher….like a soaring eagle❤
May your spirit be strengthened and your joy in His presence be full to overflowing! 🙌
You know, it’s so important that we lighten up and laugh…especially in times of adversity. I heard the following “Hormone Guide” recently and literally laughed out loud! I hope you enjoy it:
